INJECTION MOLD DESIGN

At Kufieta Sp. z o.o., injection mold design is a process based on precise stages that ensure optimal alignment with the client’s needs. We use the latest versions of Autodesk and Siemens NX software, which allow us to carry out even the most complex projects. The mold design process includes the following stages:

  1. 1. Functional analysis

We begin with a detailed analysis of the part’s functionality to ensure the product meets all user requirements.

  1. 2. Prototyping

Using rapid prototyping technologies, we create prototypes from ABS plastic or resin, allowing quick verification of the design’s functionality before mass production.

  1. 3. Ergonomic and material analysis

We evaluate which materials are best suited for mold production and whether their use will ensure efficiency and durability in the manufacturing process.

  1. 4. Initial concept development

We develop the mold concept, taking into account all technical, functional, and economic aspects.

  1. 5. Injection analysis

We perform mould flow analysis to verify assumptions and identify potential issues.

  1. 6. CAD/CAM design

At this stage, we develop a detailed 3D model of the mold that meets all structural requirements.

Prototyping in our company is carried out using various technologies, and each project is accompanied by 2D and 3D documentation, including sketches, photos, technical drawings, as well as detailed reports and analyses. Every stage is completed in close cooperation with the client to ensure the highest quality and full alignment with their expectations.

CAD/CAM Software

In the design process, we use advanced CAD/CAM software that enables precise modeling of parts and mold structures.
